17 July 2010: TPI begins development of applications of a novel technology to enhance the in vitro and in vivo stability of monoclonal antibodies. Applications include second generation rituxan, infliximab, trastuzumab, bevacizumab, adalimumab, cetuximab and etanercept. The technology involves strengthening the backbone of the antibody/protein and developing recombinant CHO-based cell lines to express these second generation biological drugs—clinical supplies to be ready in 2011.
